I heard your song “Little Boat” in the movie "Hoodwinked". I think it is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. You paint a fabulous music picture...a picture that grows every time I hear the song. You keep amazing me. I have always listened a lot to “Little Boat”, “The Tempest,” and “The Traveler”. But then the other day I heard the song “All is Even”, and it struck me that in this song I could hear elements from both The Beatles and Pink Floyd.

I just got done listening to ["This Side of the Green Arrow"] around 20 times. The music has travelled to CD players in my house, office and car. I cannot get some of the tunes out of my head, from the catchy but compelling "Future Man", to the sad and beautiful "Irrigators". His lyrics appear genuine and his voice, heartfelt. It is amazing how comfortable Daniel Rogers transitions musically throughout the entire CD while maintaining thematic continuity. Simply beautiful.

I saw the film "Hoodwinked"...and I just simply fell in love with the song "Little Boat".

If it's possible for something to be simultaneously sexy and earthy, ["This Side of the Green Arrow"] is it! A terrific range of musical and everyday sounds come together and evoke a matching variety of emotions. It's wonderful instrumentation coupled with a lead voice that's incredibly clear without compromising expressiveness.

After hearing Daniel Rogers' unique voice and music on the Hoodwinked soundtrack, I checked out his website and bought ["This Side of the Green Arrow"]. The music is great for relaxing and candlelight, but after a while your eyelids are going to get heavy. Don't drive and try to listen to this CD! On the plus side, Rogers' voice and style of music is unique and interesting, his voice soothing and passive. On the downside, there is a track in the middle of the CD that is just a bunch of sound effects or studio noise? Anyway, check out the CD!
